Stylish Events is the preferred decorator and florist at the Crest Hollow Country Club, Leonard’s Palazzo, Villa Lombardi, The Inn at New Hyde Park, The Fox Hollow, Greentree Country Club, Surf Club on the Sound, Swan Club, Chateau Le Mar, the Hyatt Regency Long Island, Huntington Long Island Hilton, and many more venues in the tri-state.

Designer

We are looking for a highly motivated self starter to join our team full time to help precure and service clients. Candidates should have an interest in the event industry, working Thursday-Monday

Qualifications

  • Understands & knows how to meet self imposed and assigned goals

  • Strong communication skills

  • Enjoys working directly with clients

  • Can handle pressure well

  • Adequately works in a close team oriented working environment

  • Organized & can follow procedures diligently

  • Has in interest in event florals or event production/ planning

  • Willing to grow with the company

  • Prompt and timely

  • Maintain an independent workflow

Responsibilities

  • reach monthly goals and objectives

  • describe services and rates with potential clients

  • service clients after sales with design & production

  • represent company at multiple showcases & events

  • on occasion attend events and/or meetings at production sites

  • follow up warm and cold leads

  • Utilize CRM and other tools with maximum ability to increase and maintain sales and client management

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year

Bonus/ Commission: Yes

Schedule: Thursday- Monday 10a-7p In person

Experience:

  • Event Industry: 1 year- preferred

  • Sales: 1 year- preferred

Education:

  • Bachelor's

  • Accounting principles


Fall Internship (PAID)

We are looking for multiple Interns to join our team and work along side with our experienced award wining staff. This one in a lifetime educational & practical work experience is paid and is in office 2- 3 days a week from August- December. 

 

Qualifications

  • Interest in event & floral design/production

  • Interest in working in an office setting

  • Eye for high end style and decor

  • Minimal 2nd/3rd year college education must be completed and on going

  • Punctual, on time and a go getter

  • Driver's license and independent method of transportation
